Organizing and operating a successful market takes time, dedication, money and supplies. We are looking to the Bennington community for help in ensuring that this market becomes a vital and lasting part of downtown Bennington. We have an exciting vision for the market: to provide fresh, locally-grown produce and prepared foods to the community; to support farmers, gardeners and food-related small businesses by offering an attractive, convenient market for the sale of their products; and to contribute to the vitality of downtown Bennington by creating an event that attracts both residents and tourists with an array of tempting foods, carefully-selected crafts, music, special events and a festival atmosphere, each Saturday during the market season.
