Organizing and operating a successful market takes time, dedication, money and supplies. We are looking to the Bennington community for help in ensuring that this market becomes a vital and lasting part of downtown Bennington. You can help support the market in several ways:
  • Become a member of the market
  • Make a cash donation for any amount, which will be used towards Market expenses like advertising and promotion, insurance, lumber and tents, postage and office supplies, etc.
  • Donate goods or services: lumber, hardware, landscaping supplies or services, marketing and promotional materials and other goods
  • Volunteer your time or expertise
Membership is open to anyone who would like to either sell at the market or support the market through membership. Friend of the Market memberships are $25 per year for individuals and $50 per year for businesses. Patrons of the Market memberships are $75 and up. Members may attend and vote at annual market meetings and receive market newsletters and mailings. Patrons of the Market, in addition to membership privileges, receive a free tote bag or T-shirt with the Walloomsac Farmers’ Market logo and grateful mention in our publications.

We have an exciting vision for the market: to provide fresh, locally-grown produce and prepared foods to the community; to support farmers, gardeners and food-related small businesses by offering an attractive, convenient market for the sale of their products; and to contribute to the vitality of downtown Bennington by creating an event that attracts both residents and tourists with an array of tempting foods, carefully-selected crafts, music, special events and a festival atmosphere, each Saturday during the market season.

To make a donation, please fill out and send in this form. Help us fulfill our vision for the Walloomsac Farmers’ Market by contributing what you can. Thank you for your support!
